Dr. Rahe returned to the Naval Health Research Center, San Diego, California - where he was stationed for 11 years while on active duty in the U.S. Navy. He completed his tour as the Commanding Officer over his final 4 years. A multidimensional view of civilians and soldiers adaptions to a variety of traumas was presented, along with several possible pathways leading to health and recovery.
